Through cardiovascular training, core stabilization, flexibility exercises and muscle strengthening, your goals can be set according to your fitness level and desire. Sessions are available in 30 & 60 minutes lengths and can be arranged to fit your schedule. You may purchase sessions individually or as packages. BobBob

Bob is both an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and Lifestyle and Weight Management Coach. He is a graduate of the US Coast Guard Academy where he played varsity soccer and competed in softball and wrestling. He is a sports enthusiast and is experienced with helping introduce people to fit and healthy lifestyles. Bob worked for over 20 years in the industrial health & safety field assisting employees with health issues, ergonomics, and exercise programs. Achieving and maintaining a healthy lifestyle is extremely important and should be at the top of everyone’s goal. Finding the time to exercise is essential. Even if you don’t have a lot of time there are many ways to balance your workouts, work and family life. Make it a priority for you and your family. Bob not only endorses the active lifestyle he lives it, by staying active and eating healthy. He currently competes in triathlons, duathlons and running races. He has over 60 races including sprint, Olympic and half Ironman distances to his credit. Bob also swims with the JCP Masters swim program.

BrandiBrandi

Originally from Maryland, Brandi moved to Florida 10 years ago to attend the University of Florida. She obtained a Bachelor's degree in Health Science and Nutrition and a completed a 1 year study as an Emergency Medical Technician. She is a certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor through AFAA. She teaches Bootcamp, Cycle, Ultimate Conditioning, Pilates and Aqua. She specializes in sports conditioning, balance, and core training. In addition to exercise, she also incorporates nutritional counseling into her training sessions. Brandi believes that a healthy lifestyle is a combination of working out as well as eating well. She has had many successful clients along the way who have lost over 100 lbs through dietary modification and exercise. In her free time she enjoys running, biking, rock-climbing and being outdoors with her children. She also enjoys training and competing in triathlons and 5Ks. She is very passionate about fitness and her career and wants to see all of her clients succeed and enjoy a healthier lifestyle.


Gary

Gary

Gary received medical training in the United States Air Force in epidemiology, industrial medicine, and environmental health. He attended courses at Emory University and the University of Virginia in Epidemiology and Business. He holds a Personal Trainer Certification from NASM, is an IDEA Instructor, and a Dive Master. He has completed courses in working with Special Populations, Weight Management, Motivation & Goal Setting, as well as APEX Nutrition, Sports Specific Training and Functional Training. Gary is a native of Kentucky and has personally been training for over fifty years. He enjoys cycling, rollerblading and swimming. Gary believes that if you keep your body strong and keep your heart healthy, you will ward off a myriad of diseases that the sedentary person may not be able to successfully defend against. Gary lives his life by example and is a great role model for anyone who trains with him. He feels everyone can benefit from strength and cardio training and it is never too late to change one's lifestyle and build a stronger body.

Angie

Angie

Angie D’Amours brings a great deal of experience to the Julington Creek Recreation Center. She has a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology and Cardiac Rehabilitation from Valdosta State University located in Valdosta, Georgia. In addition, she has been a Personal Trainer for 15 years; certified through American Council on Exercise. She has experience working with Special Populations including hip and knee replacements. She works well leading her clients to achieving weight loss, increasing flexibility and gaining overall bodily strength..Angie has approximately 16 years experience instructing group fitness classes. She instructs a wide variety of fitness classes, including Yoga, Pilates, Cycle, Boot camp, Step, Kickboxing and Bosu. She is a Les Mills instructor certified in BODYPUMP, BODYATTACK, SH’BAM, and CX30. Angie began her fitness management experience onboard Norwegian Cruise Lines as an International Fitness and Sports Cruise Director in 1999 after graduating from college. Angie has managed private country club fitness centers as well as YMCAs. She is the proud mother of two small children, Dylan 7 and Jade 4.

Eddie

Eddie earned his diploma from Miami-Dade College along with an achievement of honors. He attended Florida International University and received his Personal Training Certification & Fitness Nutrition Certification with the ISSA . He has certificates in Fall Prevention, Improving Balance in Older Adults and Developmental Disabilities. Eddie is originally from the Chicago area where he performed, coached and officiated in athletics as a youth in to adulthood. Other than training, Eddie enjoys watching, listening to, and talking sports with anyone and everyone. Besides being a Fitness Trainer, he was Gym Director in Pembroke Pines, FL where he initiated and completed a renovation of a Clubhouse Fitness Facility, instructed classes for weight lifting safety and introduced a Gym Committee Program. After attending many physical therapies, chiropractic and other health professional seminars, Eddie has seen the significance of identifying special populations and caring for each person as a unique individual. He knows that correct form and technique using gradual progression; getting the proper nutrition and maintaining a positive mental attitude are keys to reaching your fitness goals.

Sherman

Sherman

Sherman was born and raised in Louisiana, where he attended McNeese State University on a football scholarship. Sherman holds a Bachelors degree in Accounting and is presently in the process of completing his MBA in Sports Management. Sherman's love for fitness began at the early age of 11, when he realized his love for sports. Several years and personal training certifications later, he has built a clientele base in Jacksonville that includes one of the largest law firms in Northeast Florida. He has trained at the World Gym in Mandarin as well as a Personal Training Studio, also located in the Mandarin area. Sherman has worked with collegiate and professional athletes, and has coached football & basketball in Duval County Public Schools, working with young athletes wishing to pursue their dream in sports. He has also assisted elderly and obese individuals in accomplishing their dreams and goals they never imagined possible. Sherman's love for fitness is demonstrated through his care for his client's and his passion for assuring that they achieve their goals. He strongly believes that as a Personal Trainer, you are your best advertisement and practices what he preaches.

Lee Ann has degrees in Physical & Elementary Education and Exercise Science. Her 25 years of professional experience include P.E. & Classroom Teacher, Personal Trainer for all populations, Group Fitness Instructor/Director, PERSONAL FITNESS Textbook Author, & Syndicated Fitness Columnist. Lee Ann is certified with AFAR as a Personal Fitness Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor. Lee Ann has taken workshops in Body Composition & Weight Management, Nutrition & Eating Disorders, Exercise & Obesity, Senior & Kid's Fitness, Stress Management, and Prenatal Fitness. She is a certified Post Rehabilitative Exercise Specialist. Lee Ann emphasizes a proactive & disease prevention approach to health & fitness. She encourages others to spend time performing exercises that preserve & enhance strength, balance, flexibility, as well as cardiovascular exercise for disease prevention & a healthy heart. Lee Ann enjoys cycling, traveling, in-line skating, open water diving, mentoring to others, and spending time with her daughter.
