Fitness Programs

 

Our new Recreation Center will have one large aerobics room and we will offer a variety of fitness classes for a minimal fee.  We plan to provide a wide range of classes from cycling, kickboxing, Zumba, Pilates, yoga, body sculpting, step and more. 

Personal training, sports specific conditioning and kids fitness programs will also be available.  Please continue to check our website details.

 

These programs are open only to Residents of the Julington Creek Plantation Community Development District. Unless otherwise specified, most programs will be held at the Recreation Office Building at 950 Davis Pond Blvd.

**All classes require prepayment & preregistration for each session prior to class start date.  Call the Recreation office 287- 2633 for availability. No refunds, credits or cancellations. Space is limited.

Strength / Core Training Class

This Pilates-inspired strength training class will focus on muscle strengthening and toning, while increasing balance, flexibility and core strength. Boost your metabolism, beat the boredom, and get motivated by a variety of exercises using hand weights, Bosu and Stability balls. Click on the link below for class dates, times and prices.

Pilates Mat Class

This class focuses on postural awareness, spinal stabilization, core strengthening and flexibility.  The underlying principals and elements of Pilates are utilized through a series of controlled movements.

Yoga Basics Class

This mind-body class is designed for beginners.  Gain increased flexilbility and learn stress-reducing techniques in a fun environment.   Focus will be on strengthening, balance, and stretching exercises. Modifications are made for all levels.   This class will incorportate breathing techniques, and deep relaxation. Click on the link below for class dates, times and prices.

Fitness Yoga Class

This class is offered for more advanced yoga participants.  It will bring awareness to the body while developing muscular strength, flexibility, and balance. Additional cardio and core work will be included. Focus will be on postures done with more powerful movements and in a sequential pattern of poses. Kids Adventure Circuit Class

Fitness fun for kids!  This class will teach children about coordination, flexibility, teamwork, and relaxation.

This youth friendly class utilizes hurdles, medicine balls, core trainers, jump ropes, and agility ladders. Come ready for a challenging workout focusing on strength, balance, and flexibility.  We will cool off with water relay activities!
